The only hiccup in our beautifully planned day was Naomi. She got sick earlier in the week with a nasty cold--lots of snot and all of that good stuff. She finally started feeling better on Friday, but she woke Jacob & I up early this morning, crying and throwing up in her bed. From about 6 am until 10, she was fussing and crying and throwing up on and off--she just wanted to be held while she watched Disney movies. We didn't want to postpone the blessing because all of Jacob's family who live in the area were coming, and I had bought a TON of food to feed everyone lunch after church, so we brought Naomi to church in her pjs, and I left right after the blessing to take her home. Right before we had to leave for church, Naomi fell asleep on the couch, which she has NEVER done... she isn't one of those kids who will sleep anywhere. She will only sleep in her bed and occasionally in the car. So we felt terrible waking her up to take her to church. But Naomi was great for us, despite the fact that she was so sick.
The family all came over to our house after the church meetings for lunch. We took some pictures and had a nice time eating & chatting. It was a tight fit in our little townhouse with 13 adults & 6 kids, but it was really nice having everyone here!
The whole group minus Naomi, who was upstairs sleeping

Our little family, minus Naomi... I'm so bummed that she was sick, because I actually liked the way these family pictures turned out! Every other family photo we've tried to take since Aleta's birth has turned out so badly.

Me & my baby girl

Now for what you've all been waiting for... photos of Aleta in her blessing dress! (Which is the same dress we used for Naomi because those things are expensive!!!)

These last two photos are pictures from the day we blessed Naomi. She is 3 months old here, and Aleta is 2 months in her pictures. Don't they look crazy alike?? I'm not going to be able to tell their baby pictures apart in a few years.
